Project Overview
Sequens Viam Naturae (SVN) is a pioneering project addressing climate change through innovative and effective solutions. The SVN – Tokenized Carbon Debits project aims to revolutionize the carbon offset market by providing verifiable proof of CO2 absorption through advanced blockchain technology.
Trustion’s Role
Trustion supports SVN with expertise in web3/blockchain technology, digital marketing, business communication, and business development. Our collaboration with SVN highlights Trustion’s commitment to sustainable solutions and our capacity to integrate complex technologies into practical applications.

The Problem
Climate change is an urgent global crisis driven by excessive CO2 emissions from industrial activities, deforestation, and fossil fuel consumption. Traditional carbon credits often promise future CO2 absorption, leading to issues such as ‘phantom credits’ and unverified offsets. This lack of transparency and accountability undermines effective climate change mitigation efforts.
Our Solution: Tokenized Carbon Debits
SVN introduces Carbon Debits, a groundbreaking approach where each debit represents CO2 that has already been absorbed by trees. Unlike traditional carbon credits, Carbon Debits are not mere promises but tangible proof of CO2 absorption. This system ensures transparency and traceability through blockchain technology, providing undeniable proof and certification of the carbon offsets.
Key Features
- Blockchain Technology: Ensures the traceability and security of each Carbon Debit.
- Tokenized CO2 Assets: Converts absorbed CO2 into digital tokens, facilitating easier trading and verification.
- Certified and Recognized: Our methodology and results adhere to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change standards, ensuring global recognition and trust.
Our Approach
SVN employs a multifaceted approach to ecosystem restoration and community engagement:
- Agroforestry: We integrate agriculture and forestry to create balanced ecosystems, enriching soil and enhancing CO2 uptake.
- Local Collaboration: Partnering with local agricultural and ecological experts to ensure projects are rooted in community knowledge and engagement.
- Community Empowerment: Providing jobs, education, and housing to local workers, fostering self-sufficiency and economic stability.

Success Stories
Our pilot project in Suriname exemplifies the impact of our approach. Initiating with 2 hectares of reforested land, we planted over 13,000 trees and crops, incorporating diverse species to enhance ecological diversity. This project has already created multiple local jobs and laid the foundation for further expansion, demonstrating the viability and scalability of our model. The pilot launch event, hosted by the renowned artist Kenny B, marked a significant milestone in our journey.

Future Expansion
Building on our success, SVN plans to expand its reforestation efforts significantly:
- Q1 2024: Pilot reforestation of 2 hectares.
- Q2 2025: Expansion to 20 hectares.
- Q4 2025: Further expansion to 40 hectares.
- Long-term Vision: Continuous growth in carbon offsets and social responsibility, aiming to plant hundreds of thousands of trees and create numerous local jobs.

SVN and Trustion are committed to paving the way for a sustainable tomorrow. By tokenizing carbon debits, we provide a transparent, verifiable solution to climate change.
